I’m back… It’s been a year now that we’re back in France. And between us, it has been a tough one but now we are well settled down.
Everyday I miss my friends and others things like some particular food, stores open 24/7, hearing English and Target 😉
So today on this sunny day, Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas at the corner, I craved oatmeal cookies…
And what’s best than enjoying those cookies with an indian tea with cardamom… Enjoy!

I have been lucky to be able to visit the CasaCor house in Campinas, Brazil. CasaCor is a company that regroups designers an architects. After selecting a bad shape or abandoned house each team of designers and engineers is assigned a room or garage, or backyard. They have to create a showroom, being creative and using local materials. Of course, in Brazil woods is very popular and a source of inspiration.
On the Brazilian nature note, in the garden a beautiful tree caught my attention . The Jabuticaba tree ( last pictures ). It’s s a fruit-bearing tree native to Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo states in southeastern Brazil. The tree is grown for its purplish-black, white-pulped fruits; they can be eaten raw or be used to make jellies and drinks (plain juice or wine).It’s very good .
